ENUG Kahoot!
Presented by John Mickle, Jonathan Spaeth, and Sara Saplin of SUNY Special Events and Services
We will be hosting trivia through the ENUG 2020 Zoom Webinar AND the popular game-based learning platform, Kahoot!  Since we’re doing things a little differently, we wanted to provide you
with some information about how this game will be conducted:
- How To Play: You will need two separate devices(or Screens) in order to
play.- You’ll need a primary device to join the Zoom meeting.
- This is where you will see and hear the trivia questions.  You’ll also
be able to see the rest of the contestants and have the chance to
connect and banter – almost like we’re really in person! We suggest
using a computer, laptop, iPad, tablet, or device with a larger
screen to make reading the questions and answers easier.

- You can use one computer with Dual Monitors to play the game as well!

- You’ll need a primary device to join the Zoom meeting.
- Here’s how the game will work:
- There will be 3 rounds, 10 questions in each round.
- The 30 questions will be a mix of multiple choice and write in
answers, and just like grade school, spelling counts!
- Everyone is competing individually (for the sake of fun you can join with
other family members in your house), so bragging rights will be at an
 all-time high.
- Points will be awarded for correct answers and bonus points will be
awarded for 1) how quickly you can answer a question and 2) hot streaks
of multiple correct answers in a row!
- During each round of trivia everyone’s microphone will be muted.  During
the breaks, we’ll unmute everyone for some friendly heckling and chatting!

- We recommend having a strong and stable internet connection.
