Venue
The Homer Babbidge Library at UConn is the host site for the conference. Plenary sessions will be held in Konover Auditorium in the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, UConn’s Archives and Special Collections building, directly adjacent to the Library. Conference sessions will be held in meeting rooms in the Library. The meeting rooms are on two different floors, so be aware that your next session might be a short elevator ride upstairs, and plan accordingly!
Conference attendees arriving for Thursday morning’s plenary sessions should go directly to the Dodd Center to pick up their conference materials. After the conclusion of the morning’s plenary, the registration desk will move to the Auriemma Reading Room in Babbidge Library.
Also, see our Getting to Uconn page for various ways to make your way to campus.
Parking Info
Paid parking ($10-12/day) is available in the South Garage on campus, the parking garage closest to the Library. Parking is cash only. Credit cards are not accepted at the parking garage.
Campus Map
When this map comes up in your browser, the Homer Babbidge Library will be in about the middle of the bottom border. Scrolling down, you can see the Thomas J. Dodd center to the lower right of Babbidge Library.
By scrolling to the lower left of the Library, you can see the intersection of Hillside Road and Stadium Road. The round building on the west corner of the intersection is Gampel Pavilion, the basketball arena. Across Stadium Road, on the south corner of the intersection, is the UConn Cooperative Bookstore (the Co-op). The South Parking Garage is attached to the Co-op, but unfortunately not labeled on this map. You can enter the South Parking Garage from Stadium Road or from the parking lot on the hill behind the CT State Museum of Natural History.

Here’s a map of selected Storrs-area restaurants that conference attendees might enjoy. The Babbidge Library and Best Western Regent Inn are included on the map.
